problems. My work lies in the interaction between electronic
markets, automatic strategic reasoning, and business
operations. My techniques include optimization technology,
economic theory, and artificial intelligence.
I received my PhD in computer science and engineering from
the University of Michigan in 2001 for my work in market
protocols for decentralized supply chain formation (pdf).
Broadly speaking, my research interests include electronic
commerce, artificial intelligence, economics, and multiagent
